Self - Expression: A New Year A New Way!

Youth will be given a guided opportunity to engage in expressive writing and art and gain awareness of their originality and creativity. You may recognize this program from last year, with a few fun new activities added in. After the session, participants will be provided with materials to create a vision board with the opportunity to submit their work to us for a chance to be featured on our social media!



Mindfulness 
Matters

March 30

This session will teach participants about one of the most pressing lessons of their time: mental health. Participants will learn what wellness is and how it looks for different people through lenses of mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional wellbeing. They will have the opportunity to network and participate in breakout rooms and activities with youth from around Saskatchewan. This session will have participants reflect on what mental health means in their life, and equip them with the tools to help themselves. We will also mail out attendees with free program related material - stay tuned!



NUTRIEN: 
Agri-science workshop!

May 25
1:30–3:30pm CST


Join us for a science workshop where youth will learn about STEM careers and agri-science through hands-on activities using Soil Master Test Kits, which will be provided by mail. Participants will also learn about the contributions of female scientists, past and present. This program aims to inspire a passion for science and innovation, empowering participants to explore their interests in agri-science!



Empowerment through Art and Creativity - Partner with Local SK Artist

July 20

Through this session, participants will learn all about confidence, leadership skills, girls supporting girls, and ways to feel empowered and empower others through art and creativity. All youth who participate in the session will be mailed a set of self-affirmation cards! 




Science Workshop - Geology (Rocks)

August 17

Join us for an exciting science workshop to learn about ROCKS! Participants will gain hands-on experience and receive a mail-out kit with all the essentials for an engaging geology session, including rocks to explore.




Hand in Hand: Navigating Healthy Relationships

October 19

You will learn about healthy friendships/ relationships and conflict management. We will explore the ideas of consent, self-love, sexuality, and how to establish healthy boundaries. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet others from all across Saskatchewan and even sign up for a pen pal program!




Let's Get Social - The Power of Social Media (+Ai!)

December 21
1:30–3:30pm CST  


Through this session, you will learn how to navigate social media in a safe and moderate way. Special focus will be paid to internet safety, the benefits of social media, how to use it in a healthy way, and the tools needed to navigate this new world of social media.
