Youth will be given a guided opportunity to engage in expressive writing and art and gain awareness of their originality and creativity. You may recognize this program from last year, with a few fun new activities added in. After the session, participants will have the opportunity to submit their artwork or writing to us for a chance to be featured on our social media!



Mindfulness 
Matters

March 24, 2024
1:30–3:30pm CST

This session will teach participants about one of the most pressing lessons of their time: mental health. Participants will learn what wellness is and how it looks for different people through lenses of mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional wellbeing. They will have the opportunity to network and participate in breakout rooms and activities with youth from around Saskatchewan. This session will have participants reflect on what mental health means in their life, and equip them with the tools to help themselves. We will also mail out attendees with booklet!



Magic That Works! A Moment of SCIENCE Please

May 19
1:30–3:30pm CST


Through this session, youth will learn about the extraordinary accomplishments and contributions from past and present female scientists. We aim to inspire youth to pursue their passion in science. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet others from all across Saskatchewan! In 2024, we will mail out Solar-powered windmill kit and make it together!



EmpowHERment - Dare to Lead

June 23

Through this session, participants will learn all about confidence, leadership skills, girls supporting girls, and ways to feel empowered and empower others. All youth who participate in the session will be mailed a set of self-affirmation cards!




Community Leadership and Civic Engagement

August 18 
1:30–3:30pm CST   


This program is for girls in Saskatchewan ready to take action within their communities this summer. Each participant will work to figure out their passion and how they can drive change within their community. They will learn how to plan project that is achievable in the timeframe.




Hand in Hand: Navigating Healthy Relationships

October 27 
1:30–3:30pm CST  


You will learn about healthy friendships/ relationships and conflict management. We will explore the ideas of consent, self-love, sexuality, and how to establish healthy boundaries. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet others from all across Saskatchewan and even sign up for a pen pal program!



Let's Get Social - 
The Power of Social Media

December 15
1:30–3:30pm CST  


Through this session, you will learn how to navigate social media in a safe and moderate way. Special focus will be paid to internet safety, the benefits of social media, how to use it in a healthy way, and the tools needed to navigate this new world of social media.
