Sask Girls United exists in the traditional and ancestral territories of the Cree, Saulteaux, Sioux, Dene, who are – to varying extents - part of Treaties 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10 in Saskatchewan. These lands are also the homeland of the Metis Nation of Saskatchewan, formerly the Blackfoot Confederacy, and many Indigenous urban communities and individuals. SGU is committed to advancing Reconciliation, and we recognize that everyone plays a role in this journey toward collective healing.
